Journalists showcasing women’s equality issues in Canada are encouraged to apply for the 2014 Landsberg Award before the entry deadline on Friday, April 4. Named after Michele Landsberg–an award-winning journalist, author, social activist and feminist— the award will recognize a working journalist (employed or freelance) doing exceptional research, analysis and writing through a gender lens about women’s equality issues.
The winner will receive a $5,000 cash prize and will be honoured at the 17th Annual CJF Awards gala in Toronto on June 4.
The competition is presented by the Canadian Journalism Foundation (CJF) in partnership with the Canadian Women’s Foundation.
