Rick Moore, a longtime sports editor at the Moose Jaw Times-Herald was posthumously inducted as a builder into the Moose Jaw Warriors’ Conexus Warriors & Legends Hall of Fame last week.
Moore joined the Times-Herald in 1985 and took on the sports editor role in 1987. During his time as sports editor, he covered the Moose Jaw Warriors WHL team and reported on local athletes for CanWest during the 2000 Sydney Summer Olympics.
He left his post in 2006 when he was diagnosed with cancer. Moore died in March 2008 at age 45.
