The Ontario Community Newspapers Foundation has named Scott Rosts, group managing editor of Niagara This Week, as the recipient of the 2015 Insurance Bureau of Canada Community Award in Memory of Mary Knowles. Rosts has volunteered his time for a number of community organizations, including the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, the St. Catharines Female Hockey Association, Canadian Cancer Society and the NEXTNiagara youth retention and attraction initiative.
Rosts will be invited to accept his award during the Ontario Community Newspapers Association BNC Awards Gala on Friday, April 22.
