In an era of mounting newsroom cutbacks that threaten quality journalism, Bloomberg News remains a financial and journalistic success story. The Canadian Journalism Foundation’s J-Talk discussion series continues this fall with a special presentation focused on the award-winning American media outlet.
Speaker Matthew Winkler, Bloomberg News co-founder and editor-in-chief emeritus, will be joined on stage by Jacquie McNish, a Toronto-based senior correspondent for The Wall Street Journal, for an in-depth conversation about newsroom budgets, the evolution and ethics of business news and working with founder Michael Bloomberg to create the “Bloomberg Way.”
CJF’s J-Talk on Building Bloomberg News will take place on Tuesday, October 25, at the TMX Broadcast Centre in Toronto. Tickets range from $15 to $25 and are available now on the Canadian Journalism Foundation website.
