The nominees for this year’s Ontario Newspaper Awards and Quebec Community Newspaper Awards have been released.
The Ontario Newspaper Awards celebrate excellence in journalism among newspapers outside of Toronto. They are held once a year at a gala ceremony that brings together journalists, photographers, managing editors, publishers and sponsors. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Sheraton Hotel in Hamilton.
The Quebec Community Newspapers Association Conference and Awards Gala will take place at the Hotel Mont Gabriel in Ste-Adele, Quebec on Friday, June 2, 2017.
