After 50 years as a journalist, Norm Park is retiring from the newspaper business.
Park, one of the most respected reporters and columnists in Saskatchewan, received acknowledgement from Brian Zinchuk in his most recent column, which reflects on his own quarter century in the newspaper business.
According to his page on the Estevan Mercury site, Park’s work “reflects on current fads, and social conditions, ruminate on political pontifications and take a stab at sports commentary once in a while. He also may explore the implications of being married a long time to a suffering bride and other socially acceptable (occasionally unacceptable) subjects including dining habits.”
We wish him only the best.
