Beginning at the end of this month, Terry Mosher, the legendary editorial cartoonist known to his audience under the pen nameĀ ‘Aislin’, will have his satirical work featured at an exhibit at Montreal’s McCord Museum.
“This exhibition will present a retrospective of the best cartoons created by Aislin over the 50-year course of his far-reaching career,” the exhibits description says.
“As a result of his long career at the Gazette newspaper, his loaded publication history, and his acute perspective on Canadian news, he has become one of the most influential cartoonists in English Canada ā past and present.”
In addition to the exhibit, the McCord Museum will organize a day of animation films screening about Aislin on April 28. The Aislin retrospective will be on display until Aug. 13.
