The Ontario Community Newspapers Association (OCNA) is in the midst of planning its 2018 Spring Convention, being held Friday April 20, 2018 at the Sheraton Parkway North Toronto Hotel in Richmond Hill. This year’s theme is “Community Newspapers – The Heart of the Matter”.
The one-day event will be both interesting and informative. Publishers, editors, journalists, advertising managers and sales reps will have the opportunity to learn from a variety of educational sessions and share ideas or experiences with friends from the industry, both old and new.
The Better Newspapers Competition Awards Gala will conclude the evening. The hard work and dedication of community newspapers will be celebrated as the OCNA announces first, second and third place winners in a series of Premier and General Excellence categories.
