AdCanada Media Inc. has announced that effective January 1, 2020 it will assume full media representation and campaign placement services for the 102 members of the Alberta Weekly Newspapers Association. This will bring the total number of newspapers in AdCanada’s regular inventory to 208 titles publishing 215 editions each week.
The integration of Alberta’s community newspapers into the AdCanada framework will allow AdCanada to take several steps forward in terms of aligning community newspapers to the current media landscape by offering a unified sales strategy for the industry. Most importantly, it will give advertisers simpler, more cost effective access to what continues to be the #1 platform for reaching rural Canadians on the prairies: printed community newspapers.
