Shoults ‘turns the page’ to next chapter in professional career

Tim Shoults, who has spent nearly a quarter century in the community media industry, announced earlier this week that Friday will be his final day with Kamloops This Week.

In a post on LinkedIn, Shoults says he has accepted the role of executive director of the Thompson Region Division of Family Practice, which represents family physicians, general practitioners, and nurse practitioners who provide primary care.

Said Shoults in his post:

“I’m both excited and terrified to begin this second phase of my career – I have a steep learning curve ahead of me but I’m looking forward to it and to serving my community in a new way.

Community media has been wonderful to me. I’ve been privileged to have worked with two great institutions in Kamloops over the past 12 years (and with hundreds of different community organizations through them) and to work with editors and publishers across B.C. and Western Canada through my work with Glacier Media Group, the BC and Yukon Community Newspapers Association and the National NewsMedia Council.

The team at KTW will be well served as Raymond J. moves into the new position of General Manager and Christopher Wilson 🥇 becomes the new General Sales Manager. Please join me in congratulating them and wishing them and the talented and dedicated team at KTW every success in the future.”
