The high shutter speed captured the beauty of this bird’s tailfeathers in flight. A great capture and I loved the placement on the front page. It made a big, bold statement for this saucy fellow.”2nd Place: Davidson Leader, Sandy Hutchinson“Sandy Hutchinson’s photo of a rare bird had my vote as a top pick. Right place, right time, and this neat photo captured the essence of a cool marsh bird.
