Parliamentary committee meeting with Google execs postponed due to tech problems

The House of Commons heritage committee was scheduled to meet with executives from Google this past Monday, however, technical problems prevented the meeting from taking place.

The committee had summoned multiple executives to testify after some Canadian users experienced problems accessing news content on their platform.

Sabrina Geremia, the head of Google Canada, was set to appear. Multiple executive based in the U.S. had no plans to join the meeting.

The new meeting is scheduled to take place on Friday, March 10.
