The Canadian Community Newspapers Association’s (CCNA) 2005 convention will be held in picturesque Banff, Alberta, surrounded by the majestic Rocky Mountains. Celebrating the 86th anniversary of the association, the event will take place at the Banff Park Lodge Resort Hotel and Conference Centre from June 1 to 4.
The association announced its decision during its 85th national convention, Perspectives 2004, which was held in Ottawa-Gatineau from June 3 to 5. A committee chaired by CCNA director Richard Holmes from Alberta will lead the development of the program schedule. Some 250 delegates from community newspapers from across Canada are expected to attend.
