Joe March of Multicom Media, a leading producer of diversity and community newspapers, will be addressing convention delegates on the afternoon of Friday, May 26, in place of the previously scheduled Metroland session.
ÔÇ£The New Mainstream: Do you speak its Language?ÔÇØ will discuss the growing imbalance between what is known as the Mainstream population and the so called ÔÇ£New Mainstream.ÔÇØ It will also examine projections for CanadaÔÇÖs urban and rural areas with respect to rising diversification, and establish a case for considering language or cultural orientation as a legitimate definition of a community.
