Young daily newspaper journalists have just one week left to submit their entries for this year’s Goff Penny Awards. The annual prize competition honours Canadian newspaper journalists who are in the early stages of their careers.
Staff reporters and freelance journalists are invited to submit articles that have appeared in a CNA-member daily newspaper publications within the 2015 calendar year. Winners will be announced in two circulation classes – less than 25,000 and 25,000 and up – and will receive $1,500 in prize money in recognition of their outstanding work.
