Daily Newspaper Circulation Data

In 2021, Canada’s daily newspaper circulation (paid and free) stood at 19.3 million copies over the course of a week. 58% of daily newspaper circulation was paid and 42% was free (controlled).

  • Daily newspaper paid circulation accounted for 11,128,346 copies weekly and controlled circulation accounted for 8,149,048 copies weekly.
  • There were 74 daily newspaper titles in Canada.
