Open Letter to Ottawa

Publishers representing a majority of the newspaper industry are urging the federal government to take immediate action to make digital giants like Facebook and Google share their advertising revenues with Canadian media companies.

On May 2, 2020 the letter appeared in a number of newspapers across the country.  Newspaper publishers are encouraged to download the ad material using the links below and run the ad in their newspapers to show support.  The layout is set up to allow publishers to add their own name, title, signature and logo to the ad using the source files below. Publishers are also encouraged to consider supporting this initiative with editorial coverage.
