There are now just eleven days left to enter the Canadian Community Newspapers Association’s (CCNA) 2006 Better Newspapers Competition (BNC), but thatÔÇÖs still more than enough time to get your entries in to compete in this yearÔÇÖs awards.
So what do you need to do to enter this yearÔÇÖs Better Newspapers Competition? HereÔÇÖs a quick checklist to help you out:
1. Visit http://www.communitynews.ca/bncawards/2006/ and print off the entry forms which are included as a PDF.
2. Read the ÔÇ£Entry Rules and CriteriaÔÇØ and decide which categories you want to enter.
3. Gather your tear sheets for each entry and attach an entry tag (which is provided with the entry form) to each of them.
4. Fill in the entry forms and mark off which categories you are entering.
5. Mail us your entries and entry form, along with the entry fees, postmarked or shipped prepaid prior to midnight on January 31 to: 8 Market St., Suite 300, Toronto, Ontario, M5E 1M6. (Just remember, C.O.D. packages will not be accepted.)
Finalists will be announced on Friday, April 14, 2006, with the awards being presented at the CCNAÔÇÖs 2006 National Convention in Qu├®bec City on Saturday, May 27, 2006.
