This is it. Five days remain to enter the Canadian Community Newspapers Association’s (CCNA) 2007 Better Newspapers Competition (BNC). Entry packages must be postmarked or shipped prepaid prior to midnight on January 19 to: 8 Market St., Suite 300, Toronto, Ontario, M5E 1M6. (C.O.D. packages will not be accepted.)
There are literally dozens of reasons to enter, not the least of which is the chance to show off your winning work to your readers, advertisers, and staff.
ItÔÇÖs also easy finding entries to submit; just ask your staff or co-workers what articles, photos, ads, or special sections they are most proud of from 2006.
You can find all the rules, forms, and competition details on the CCNA web site at http://www.communitynews.ca/bncawards/2007/. Finalists will be announced on March 12 with the awards being presented in Winnipeg on Friday, May 11.
