Newspapers remain a vibrant and effective medium for advertisers, both in print and online, according to Suzanne Raitt, VP Marketing & Innovation, CNA/CCNA. In an interview with the Winnipeg Free Press she described some of the ways newspapers can appeal to advertisers. "Newspapers have to inspire advertisers" she said, "show them something interesting…create mobile applications (and) use new technologies." Raitt travelled to Manitoba this week to deliver a presentation to agencies, advertisers and media planners on the power and effectiveness of newspapers and their sites.
