The latest release from the Vividata survey (2015 Q4) confirms that newspaper readership is strong and consistent across markets. In the top 20 markets measured, weekly newspaper readership, in print or digital, is more than eight out of ten (82%) for Canadian adults.
Print is the still the primary medium for newspaper content with 69% readership, but more than half of adults (54%) read digital newspaper content weekly as well. Regionally, Ottawa/Gatineau tops the list with 85% total weekly newspaper readership.
