The Quebec Community Newspapers Association (QCNA) is currently accepting entries for its annual BNC Awards competition. The deadline to apply is February 5.
QCNA announced several changes to this year’s competition. They are:
- The contest opening date and deadline have been extended by 2 weeks this year to allow more time to submit entries.
- You will NOT need to submit online or hard copy entries for A1 The Best Overall Newspaper Award this year (see the 2024 Call for Entries and Contestant Instructions links below for more details.)
- There are 3 NEW AWARDS for 2024: B27 Best Nature/Environment Photo, B28 Best Contributed Photo & 1 new special award
- We had 525 entries by 18 publications in last year’s 2023 competition.
- The BNC Contest shortlist will be announced on the QCNA webpage in March 2024 and winners awarded at the Annual AGM and Conference (date and location to be announced soon).
