CCNA’s Research Task Force will be hosting the first meeting of a tri-partite advisory body on Friday, Feb. 2 in Toronto as part of its efforts to organize a national readership research bureau.
The group, made up equally of national advertisers, ad agencies, and community newspaper publishers, will be asked for their input on the design and implementation of a readership study. A pilot research study will be conducted later this year based on that input.
The tri-partite body, based on other industry models such as NADbank and BBM, will be asked to meet periodically to give guidance on the ambitious project as it moves forward. Jim Cumming, Fort Frances (ON) Times, and a CCNA board member, is chair of the Research Task Force
