As part of our ongoing training and education program, Newspapers Canada has developed a three-part webinar series on credit services. The series is offered in two streams: the Advertising stream has been designed for managers and finance staff at agencies, while the Newspaper stream is aimed at daily and community newspaper staff. Topics include building an effective credit policy, collection techniques and legal issues.
Webinars in the Advertising stream are also available in French.
The speaker for the English-language sessions is Ross Edmunds, credit analyst with Newspapers Canada and author of The Canadian Credit and Collection Guide. Webinars offered in French will be presented by Mario Serio. Serio is credit manager of La Presse, a certified credit professional and member of the Credit Institute.
