Canadian Community Newspapers Association (CCNA) members have less than a month to submit entries for the 2011 Canadian Community Newspaper Awards. Newspaper publishers and staff are invited to submit work in over 25 award categories including Best News Story, Outstanding Columnist, Best Business Writing and Best Multimedia Feature.
Formerly the Better Newspaper Awards, the annual competition is the only industry awards program that recognizes outstanding community newspapers on a national level, honouring the very best in editorial, photography and multimedia initiatives. Enter by January 12 and qualify to win a voucher of up to $1,500 towards the cost of attending the 2011 INK+BEYOND. Final deadline is Friday, January 21, 2011.
