Publishers who are interested in applying for financial assistance under the Aid to Publishers component of the Canada Periodical Fund have until December 12 to complete and submit applications to the Department of Canadian Heritage. Funding for paid circulation non-daily newspapers is calculated using a circulation-based funding formula introduced in the 2011-2012 fiscal year.
