Digital specialist Mark Challinor to speak at INK+BEYOND
As industry speakers from Canada and around the world sign on to the conference program, we are pleased to announce that internationally renowned media consultant Mark Challinor will be addressing our newspaper delegates at a plenary session titled Digital Evolution: Audience Engagement Across Different Platforms.
Challinor is a consultant at Digital:Mobile Consultancy. He previously served as the director of Mobile Platforms for Telegraph Media Group in London, England where he was responsible for the monetisation of all mobile and tablet related services.
He has spent 20 years in and around the newspaper industry having previously held senior commercial roles at The Daily Mail and Daily Mirror. Challinor also spent five years in the mobile consultancy arena, helping media companies such as The Times of India and Fairfax Media (Australia) begin their "mobile" journeys. In 2006 he received the International News Media industry award for services to the global news media industry.
Challinor is currently a vice president and international board member for International Newsmedia Marketing Association (INMA) and a member of the Code of Advertising Practice Panel (CAP) for the UK’s Advertising Standards Association.
