Two daily newspapers are among the nominees at the inaugural Digital Publishing Awards. Launched in November 2015 by the National Magazine Awards Foundation, the new bilingual competition aims to promote excellence among Canadian digital publications. Categories include Best Digital Editorial Package, Best Blog, Best Online Video and Best Multimedia Storytelling.
The Globe and Mail earned 10 nominations and the Toronto Star received eight. The final winners will be revealed on June 9 at an awards gala in Toronto.
