The National Newspaper Awards (NNAs) are now open!
Daily newspapers from across the country have until January 15 to submit their best editorial work and photography from the past year for the 2016 competition.
Now in its 68th year, the prestigious national competition features more than 20 unique categories, including local reporting, editorials, breaking news, sports, politics and much more.

The NNAs were established in 1949 to encourage excellence and reward achievement in daily newspaper work in Canada. Finalists will be announced in mid-March, and winners will be announced at a gala dinner onFriday, May 5, 2017, in Toronto.
