Newspaper reading differs on weekdays and weekends

Research from Vividata, the Canadian newspaper industry’s most comprehensive consumer survey, finds that newspaper reading differs on weekdays and weekends.

Weekend reading is dominated by print (80 per cent) when readers have more time to explore all that the print edition has to offer. During the week, with busier schedules, two thirds (64 per cent) of Canadian adults read in print and 60 per cent read a digital edition.
