Canadian Heritage has just released the 2012-2013 Applicant’s guide for the Business Innovation component of the Canada Periodical Fund. This project funding initiative offers financial support to eligible small and mid-sized print magazine and digital periodical publishing firms.
The Business Innovation component of CPF encourages innovation to adapt to changing market conditions and contributes to the diversity of content sought by Canadian readers.

Deadlines:
It is recommended to submit your application at least four months prior to the project start date.
- For the Business Innovation for Print Periodicals sub-component, applications are accepted throughout the year.
- For the Business Innovation for Digital Periodicals sub-component, applications must be received by January 23, 2012.
