Hosts Steve Buors, co-founder and CEO of Reshift Media Inc., and Jen McDonnell, VP of content and social media for Reshift Media Inc., will give a hands-on review of social media best practices and new strategies to improve audience engagement at your newspaper. Steve Buors has over a decade of digital marketing experience and has earned a reputation for being at the forefront of emerging trends in social, search and mobile. Prior to becoming Co-Founder of Reshift Media, he led many strategic initiatives for several of Canada’s leading companies to bring digital products and innovations to market.
Jen McDonnell has worked in online journalism for a decade, most recently as the Managing Editor and Director of Dose, which she helped transition from a print publication to an online property. She led the charge in distributing Dose’s editorial content across numerous platforms and social mediums.
