Newspaper Audience Databank Inc. (NADbank), the principal research arm of the Canadian daily newspaper industry, has announced a number of changes to its Board of Directors. Chair of the Board Jean Durocher from La Presse Ltée is retiring. Durocher will be replaced by Bill MacDonald, president and publisher of Metro English Canada.
Andrew Saunders, vice president, advertising sales of The Globe and Mail will continue in his role as vice-chair while Veronica Engelberts, president of Vector Media, remains as treasurer.
Four new board members have been elected to the board: Kevin McDonald, president, Novus Canada; Stephane Le Gal, vice-president sales and marketing, The Gazette; Penny Stevens, president, Media Experts MHS Inc; and Luc Tremblay vice-president of sales, La Presse Ltée.
Kirk Allen former executive vice-president of integrated advertising for Postmedia; Philippe Guay, vice-president Toronto National Sales with Québecor Media Inc., and Sara Hill, president, M2 Universal Communications Management are also retiring from the board in addition to Durocher.
