Newspapers Canada’s 2013 webinar series continues in April with four new training sessions designed for staff from a variety of newspaper departments. Upcoming topics include retail sales, mobile marketing and multimedia excellence. Excelling at Retail Sales – Tuesday, April 2
The Sales Series continues on April 2 with Excelling at Retail Sales. Hosted by strategic marketing consultant Peter Lamb, this presentation will focus on finessing the art of questioning, listening and presenting and is an ideal training session for retail sales coordinators and representatives.
Mobile Marketing for Executives – Tuesday, April 9
Publishers, VPs and directors from all departments will want to tune in to Mobile Marketing for Executives on April 9, the first webinar in our Mobile Series. Digital experts Steve Buors and Kirk Allen from Reshift Media will give an overview of mobile fundamentals, discuss mobile-optimized and responsive design approaches, and highlight the various different pros and cons of apps.

Finally, the second installment in our Mobile Series airs on April 23. During Mobile for Newsrooms, editors and journalists will receive a hands-on review of mobile as it relates to content creation, curation and management. Steven Burors and Jen McDonnell from Reshift Media will give attendees an in-depth look at the latest developments on major mobile platforms and provide audience engagement strategies to take away.
