Do you love your newspaper? Of course you do. Then don’t be shy about hiding your pride.
On December 6, we want you to share with us the front page of your favourite paper – local or national – and let everyone know why your newspaper matters to you. You can share your photos and comments with us either on Facebook or on Twitter. Just be sure to tag us.
The idea behind #LoveMyNewspaper comes from Kevin Cate, who runs a newsletter called Above the Fold Florida, which aggregates front pages from newspapers across the state.
His rationale for the online event: “The print and digital editions of newspapers allow us to be briefed like kings and queens for next to nothing. Seriously, you’d have to be a billionaire to afford that on your own. Newspapers are worth defending.”
We couldn’t agree more.
