Marie-Claude Lortie named editor-in-chief of Le Droit

Le Droit has announced that veteran journalist Marie-Claude Lortie has been named the publication’s new editor-in-chief. In doing so, she becomes the first female to lead the organization.

Lortie has spent more than 30 years in the journalism industry with La Presse. She will take over the role effective May 25.

She will be replacing Patrice Gaudreault, who will take on a new role within the cooperative.
