The first edition of the ComBase Updater was published in March, the newsletter designed to keep ComBase members and the community newspaper industry up to date on the progress of the national study.
A direct link to the current newsletter can be found at www.combase.ca/updater. As of mid March there are 293 participating newspapers and the study is progressing according to schedule.
All markets are scheduled to be completed by the end of July 2003 and many of the Atlantic provinces are already done. Vancouver markets were added to the study in March and are well underway. No data can be released until interviewing is complete.
