Glacier Ventures International Corp. announced August, 9 that it acquired 100% of the shares of Pasquia Publishing Ltd. from Larry and Carrie Mitchell.
Pasquia owns and operates a group of community newspapers and related printing operations in northeastern Saskatchewan.
The publications acquired include the Tisdale (SK) Recorder, Parkland (SK) Review, East Central (SK) Connection, Naicam (SK) News, Hudson Bay (SK) Post Review, and The La Ronge (SK) Northerner.
The operations have a combined weekly distribution of over 30,000.
Glacier also announced that Larry Mitchell will continue as group publisher of the acquired newspapers and operations.
