Winners will be contacted in the coming days to confirm their attendance at the CCNA’s 2008 National Convention in Toronto, where they can accept their award in front of their peers during the BNC Awards Banquet on May 9, 2008.
For the second year, the CCNA is offering each first-place winner in the Premier Award categories and Campus Division one night’s accommodation and a complimentary day pass at the 89th national convention for Friday, May 9, in Toronto. The pass gives the recipient full access to the day’s professional development sessions and networking opportunities, including the exhibit area, CCNA Presidents luncheon, and Better Newspapers Competition Awards gala.

Ink & Beyond runs from May 7 to 9, 2008 at the Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto in partnership with the Canadian Newspaper Association (CNA). Over 400 delegates are expected to attend the event which includes a trade show, plenary sessions and breakouts geared toward small and large newspapers.
