Reporter and editor Jim Amos passes away

Former reporter and editor Jim Amos has passed away at the age of 52. Amos began his career at the Revelstoke Review before travelling to Campbell River in the early 1990s to join the Courier-Islander. Starting as a photographer and darkroom technician Amos quickly graduated to reporter and then editor at the BC community paper. Later on in his career Amos covered news at the Comox Valley Echo before accepting a position on to the provincial government's Public Affairs Bureau.
