It’s time to enter the Canadian Community Newspaper Awards

Newspapers Canada is pleased to announce the launch of the 2015 Canadian Community Newspaper Awards (CCNAwards). We invite all of our English and French-language community newspapers to submit their best work from 2014 for this prestigious national competition. The entry period is open now until January 30, 2015. With a diverse range of awards categories—covering writing, photography and multimedia—the CCNAwards offer accolades and learning opportunities for publications of all shapes and sizes.

Once again this year we are offering a special early-bird prize. Submit your entries on or before the early-bird deadline on January 23 for a chance to win up to $1,500 to use toward the cost of attending the 2015 Newspapers Canada conference in Toronto.

This voucher can be used for one staff member, is non-transferable and has no cash value. The early-bird draw is open to CCNA members only.

The final entry deadline for this year’s CCNAwards is Friday, January 30, 2015.

Our customized online entry platform makes the submission process quick, easy and affordable. Visit www.communitynewspaperawards.ca to learn more and start submitting your best work from 2014.
