Veteran sports reporter Curt Rush retires

Long-time Toronto Star reporter Curt Rush retired last month after 40 years in the newspaper business. Rush began his journalism career at The Sarnia Observer in 1976 and worked at the Toronto Sun and Edmonton Journal before joining the Toronto Star in 1981.

During his 35 years with the Star, Rush worked in numerous different newsroom roles: copy editor, crime reporter, photographer, video editor and digital reporter. He joined the sports department as a reporter in 2013.
