Entries are now being accepted for the 2012 Edward Goff Penny Memorial Prizes for Young Canadian Journalists.
The annual awards offer cash prizes of $1,500 to two individuals working or writing for daily newspapers in two circulation classes: under 25,000 and 25,000 and over. Entrants must be between the ages of 20 and 25 at the time of publication in order to be eligible for consideration.
Competitors are required to submit four (4) editorial articles published during the 2012 calendar year.

The final submission deadline for the 2012 Goff Penny Awards will be February 18, 2013. Prizes will be awarded at a presentation ceremony during the INK+BEYOND conference in Ottawa on May 1-3, 2013.
