The Canadian Community Newspapers Association (CCNA) is pleased to announce that the Great National Ideas Exchange 2006 is now accepting entries for this yearÔÇÖs session at the National Convention in Quebec City, May 24 ÔÇô 27. This yearÔÇÖs session offers an opportunity for members to showcase the best advertising and promotional ideas that helped promote their paper, raise advertising dollars, increase subscriptions, improve their bottom line, or generate good will in their community.

Members have two choices for presenting at this yearÔÇÖs session: they may either submit their entry in advance of the event and provide 2 to 3 photos or images for the slideshow presentation, or they may show up at the session on Saturday, May 27th, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, and present the idea on the spot.

At the end of the event publishers in attendance will vote to select the “Great Idea”, which will be awarded a voucher for a two-night stay at any Delta Hotel in Canada. A selection of the other ideas will also be featured in a special section of The Publisher to give other community newspapers across Canada the chance to learn from their colleagues.
