Two featured CCNA Convention speakers announced

Lynn Hennigar, the president of the Canadian Community Newspapers Association, will be speaking about creating a healthy workplace. She will discuss how an office can guage its overall health and how the workplace can become more healthy. At her own office in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Hennigar has worked hard to improve the health of staff, including encouraging exercise and good eating habits.

Ivan Emke, Associate Professor at Sir Wilfred Grenfell College, Memorial University of Newfoundland, , and a member of the New Rural Economy research team, will be presenting the results of two surveys on the relationship between community newspapers and the communities they serve.
