Name the partnership

Moving in together was the first big step, and now the Canadian Community Newspapers Association and the Canadian Newspaper Association have a challenge: what do we call ourselves?

The jointly-operated office in Toronto is looking for a name that not only reflects both associations’ commitment to print, but also, to the diversity of media across Canada.

The person who submits the winning entry will receive a free trip to the 2009 conference, which is being held May 20-22 in Montreal. Send your suggestion and a short explanation of your idea to tongkeko@ccna.ca. The deadline is September 15.

The CNA and CCNA announced during the 2008 conference in Toronto that they would combine operations under a co-management agreement. John Hinds was appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer for the jointly managed office.
