CCNA to award Honourary Life Membership to Clark Pepper

The board of directors for the Canadian Community Newspapers Association (CCNA) has announced it will award Clark Pepper of Shellbrook, Saskatchewan with Honourary Life Membership to the association. Pepper is a third generation publisher of the Shellbrook Chronicle, a weekly paper his great-grandfather founded in 1912. He first joined the CCNA board in 1996 and went on to serve as president of the national association from 2001-2002 and as president of the Saskatchewan Weekly Newspapers Association from 2008-2011.

He will be awarded Honourary Life Membership during the Canadian Community Newspaper Awards gala at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel on Thursday, April 26.
