APME’s NewsTrain training series comes to Toronto this September

Associated Press Media Editors (APME) is teaming up with Newspapers Canada and Metroland Media Group to bring its renowned NewsTrain training series to Toronto this September. NewsTrain features two full days of educational workshops for managers and editors by some of the best journalism practitioners in North America—all for just $50 per person (plus HST). The topics covered will include video and social media as well as newsroom management issues.

NewsTrain will be held on September 13-14, 2012 at the Torstar Vaughan Press Centre. The NewsTrain Toronto advisory committee includes The Canadian Press, the Ontario Community Newspapers Association, The Toronto Star, and Ryerson University.
