Prominent European newspaper executives join program for INK+BEYOND 2013

Rainer Esser, CEO of the award-winning Die Zeit newspaper in Germany, is the latest speaker to join the program for Newspapers Canada’s INK+BEYOND 2013 conference, taking place on May 1-3 in Ottawa. Esser will give conference delegates a behind-the-scenes look at the operational strategies at Germany’s most widely read weekly paper during his presentation “Die Zeit Success Story and Brand Diversification.”

Newspapers Canada has also confirmed Juan Señor, visiting fellow at Oxford University and co-editor of the annual Innovations in Newspapers World Report, as the opening speaker for INK+BEYOND. As a partner with Innovation Media Consulting Group, Señor has directed projects all over the world helping news operations to re-invent their products and stay relevant with shifting audiences. Señor will inspire conference delegates with his insights on the future of news media during his keynote presentation, "Mediamorphosis: Success Across all Platforms," on the morning of Thursday, May 2.
