Newspapers Canada’s webinar series returns this month with ten brand new educational presentations. Audience measurement data, SEO fundamentals, social media trends and single copy sales strategies are just some of the diverse topics that will be covered during the Fall 2013/Winter 2014 webinar season. Presentations feature expert speakers from across the country and are tailored to newspaper staff from various departments including management, editorial, marketing, advertising sales, circulation and more.

The first webinar in the season is scheduled for Tuesday, October 29. Speaker Matthew Benner from Chief Outsiders will lead Optimizing Retailer Relationships: Growing Single Copy Sales. Using the Dallas Morning News as a case study, Benner will provide insights into how circulation can work with advertising and retailers to identify opportunities to increase single copy sales performance through both existing and currently untapped outlets.
